Support us and win up to £25,000
Hertfordshire Scouts has teamed up with Lottery management provider Unity to launch our own lottery, offering players the chance to win £25,000 and raise money for Scouting, from £4.34 per month

How it works

The draw takes place every Friday and each entry costs just £1. Hertfordshire Scouts will receive 50p from every £1 weekly entry.


When you sign up you can choose to pay monthly at £4.34 per month or pay £52 to play once a week for a whole year. Costs will vary depending on how many entries you choose and over what duration you wish to spread the cost.

When you join our lottery, you will be allocated your own six-digit Unity lottery number. Each week a random number is drawn and if your number matches, you may win a cash prize.

Are there any age restrictions?

Yes. Legally, nobody under the age of 16 can play the lottery. And we strongly discourage the promotion of our lottery to anyone under 18.

Where does the other half of my £1 go?

The remaining 50p goes to Unity, our lottery management company, to cover their administration costs and prizes. By working with Unity, we join an established lottery with more than 170 charity members, and it is only through this partnership that we can offer such an attractive prize, with absolutely no risk to Hertfordshire Scouts.

Supporters of the Hertfordshire Scouts lottery have enabled us to invest almost £50,000 in the

re-development of Harmergreen Wood, our back to basics centre.

Projects like this help us with our aim of delivering 50%+ of our programmes outdoors.
